Poetry Contest for Teens & Teen Idol Auditions As Part of "Hear
My Voice" Teen Day
CA is holding a poetry contest for teens, ages 13-18. The winner of the
poetry contest will read their poem during the “Hear My Voice”
Teen Day event on Sunday, from 2-5 pm at the Columbia Teen Center. Teens
are asked to create an original work based on the theme “Hear My
Voice” and/or teen empowerment. While there is no word limit, all
entries must be no longer than 3 minutes when read aloud. Profanity, sexual
innuendo and references to drugs and/or alcohol are grounds for disqualification.
Entries are due on September 12 by 5 pm. To submit a poem, please mail
